Gov’t Mule announces headlining shows with Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue


Gouv’t Mule are back on the road this summer and fall. The acclaimed quartet announced a series of six headlining shows with the GRAMMY-nominated singer, songwriter and horn blower Shorty Trombone & Orleans Avenue, which will debut August 25 in Salt Lake City. Dates will include full and equal length sets of both groups, the rotating closing set per show, and will follow local regulations regarding seating, capacity and general public health safety protocols.

Fans can also see Gov’t Mule perform some headlining shows, including a just-announced date in Boston with special guest Margo Price. The group will then join the 2021 Willie Nelson Outlaw Music Festival Tour from September 10 to October 24 alongside Nelson, Sturgill Simpson, The Avett Brothers, and more. Coming later this winter, Gov’t Mule returns to the Jewel Paradise Cove Resort in Runaway Bay, Jamaica for Island Exodus 12, the ultimate “concert-cation” experience from January 16-20, 2022. Hosted by Gov’t Mule, who will present three full shows in two sets, and Warren Haynes, offering his unique and interactive ‘Q and Play’ ensemble, a hybrid concert performance and a storytelling session, the multi-day experience will also include intimate concerts in seaside by Dawes and The War and Treaty, who will perform several sets, and special guest Ron Holloway, who will present an extended afternoon “Sax On The Beach”.
